This photo was originally captured in 1927 at the fifth Solvay Conference, one of the most star-studded meetings of scientific minds in history. Notable attendees included Albert Einstein, Niels Bohr, Marie Curie, Erwin Schrödinger, Werner Heisenberg, Wolfgang Pauli, Paul Dirac and Louis de Broglie among others. And now, it’s been beautifully colorized by redditor mygrapefruit.
You can learn more about the colorization process, and check out more of mygrapefruit’s work, over on her website.

Do you know that Turtles are are as ancient as Dinosaurs? Yes. They originated on earth more than 200 million years ago which makes the species older than the oldest ever dinosaur. Besides that, sea turtle is also an animal which return to its birth place annually, even if it has to journey for more than 1000km to do so.
Sea turtles start their lives in eggs buried in the sand. After a two-month incubation, the young turtles hatch and run to the sea, facing attack by a variety of predators (e.g., birds, crabs, fish) along the way. They drift at sea until they are about a foot long and then, depending on the species, may move closer to shore to feed. Sea turtles mature at around age 30.
